This year, enjoy winter recreation in Forest County Wisconsin, with over 360 miles of groomed, state funded trails winding through the Nicolet National Forest in lightly populated communities. All trails link to both casinos and all hospitality businesses in Forest County providing many pit stops along the trail for food, lodging and refreshments. With six active snowmobile clubs, this area has some of the best trails in the state! The 100-Mile Snow Safari, Lumberjack Memorial Trails, Brule River Trails, Three Lakes Trails, Tombstone-Pickerel and Forest County Wolf Pack Trails.
If snowmobiling isn't your passion Forest County has numerous cross country ski trails, snowshoeing and ice fishing. No matter what your outdoor recreation is.... You will be sure to find it in Forest County.
