With 59% of the land base being public lands, there are endless opportunities to enjoy Forest County. There are many miles of forest roads open to non-motorized recreation. Such activities as hiking, biking, and horseback riding are common on these roads. There are 32 miles of ATV trails, 824 named lakes, 479 miles of classified trout streams, 123 miles of canoe routes, numerous campgrounds and beaches, and so much more!
