Forest County offers many outdoor recreation opportunities. The County owns 10,848 acres which the Forestry Department maintains for recreation, wildlife, and sustainable timber harvests. There are 2 designated cross-country ski trails, 2 ATV trails, 398 miles of snowmobile trails, 40 miles of maintained logging roads for hunters, hikers, bikers, and any other outdoor enthusiasts. |
